About the role

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Design and deliver features across the full stack — Vue 3, Node.js, MongoDB

  2. Own code quality through reviews, standards, and refactoring

  3. Define system architecture for new features and third-party integrations

  4. Maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure deployment stability

  5. Lead sprint ceremonies: planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives

  6. Break down product requirements into engineering tasks and assign work appropriately

  7. Track and report delivery progress; flag blockers early

  8. Support hiring: conduct technical interviews and evaluate candidates

  9. Act as the primary technical contact for product, operations, and leadership

  10. Translate technical constraints and timelines for non-technical stakeholders

  11. Document decisions, architecture, and processes clearly

  12. Conduct 1-on-1s and provide structured feedback to team members

  13. Guide junior and mid-level developers on best practices and career growth

  14. Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices

Ideal Candidate

1Strong hands-on Sr. Full Stack Developer Profile (Vue.js / Node.js / MongoDB) with E-commerce/marketplace/Product company exposure

2Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 5+ years of software development experience, with at least the recent 1+ years in a Lead or Senior role.

3Mandatory (Tech skill 1): Must have strong Vue.js 3 — Composition API, Pinia, Vue Router, and component architecture.

4Mandatory (Tech skill 2): Must have strong Node.js — Express.js or Fastify, REST API design, async/await, and JWT / OAuth2.

5Mandatory (Tech skill 3): Must have strong MongoDB — schema design, indexing, aggregation pipelines, and Mongoose

6Mandatory (Tech skill 4): Must have strong Git workflows (branching strategies, PR discipline, GitFlow) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions or equivalent, basic Docker).

7Mandatory (Tech skill 5): Must have AWS fundamentals (EC2, S3); EKS / ECS exposure a plus.

8Mandatory (Tech skill 6): Must remain hands-on — writing code, reviewing PRs, defining architecture for new features and third-party integrations, and maintaining deployment stability

9Mandatory (Skill 1): Must have led a team of 5 or more developers in an Agile environment, running sprint ceremonies (planning, standups, reviews, retros) and owning delivery

10Mandatory (Skill 2): Must be able to mentor junior/mid developers (1-on-1s, feedback), support hiring (technical interviews), and drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools

11Mandatory (Communication): Must have strong stakeholder communication skills to translate technical constraints for non-technical stakeholders

12Mandatory (Education): Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent

13Mandatory (Domain): E-commerce/Marketplace/Product company experience

14Preferred: AI and LLM integration experience with Claude API, OpenAI or similar
